Vent/boast moment: It is amazing to me how many people will stick their nose in the air at me, call me immature or think they are so much better than me. I may not have a Bachelors degree and I may sometimes be one french fry short of a happy meal, but Id say Ive achieved a lot and can say I am honestly proud of where I am today. I am married to the love of my life, I am the mother of 2 amazing/gorgeous children, I have had the same job for 5 years, I did finish college (while pregnant and with a 1.5 year old while renovating our first home), I own and operate a newly thriving photography business (with the help of my partner Derek Underwood :D ), Gabe and I and our small family have managed to get the home of our dreams, I still make time (as much as I can) for my friends, I make it to EVERY family event, I make it to ALMOST every birthday party, I dont turn the other cheek to people who have burned me in some of the worst ways (because humans make mistakes and say hurtful things but theyre still human) and I am always willing to lend a helping hand, ALWAYS! So the next time someone wants to point fingers, and not even at just me, remember there are always three pointing back at yourself and I guarantee you there are things in your life that more damaged and broken than the problems of others you are gossiping about. end rant.
