Venue: Epworth,date 16-01-2015 time,8:00 am-5:30 pm. Relief aid to Epworth flood victims. The journey of a thousand miles begins with one first step,when Tzu Chi volunteers started the visit to the disaster victims on 03 01 2015 they put effort everyday to fulfill Master Cheng Yens mission.These pictures charecterises the work of the rains that have pounded the nation this rain season.When this disaster struck not everyone was lucky to escape un harmed.The man in red bottom was injured both legs,because he had no money he did not go to hospital . His legs are swollen and he dose not know how bad the injury is.Black plastics are the ones that are used in many cases but they are not strong,if hail rain come they will be torn to peaces within some minutes.The third picture from the last one shows a picture of a woman with a new baby.When her house was destroyed she was due to delivery but unfortunately some of her baby preparation clothes were washed away by the floods.Her husband repared the fallen sides with a black plastic.Finally the new baby arrived and they are living in their new house but the baby had no sufficient warm blankets .So when Tzu Chi Foundation provided her with one she was very happy and relieved that her baby now have a warm blanket to protect her from cold weather.
