Venue : Pebble #3 Princess Academy, Ramanna Maharishi Road, Palace Grounds, Bangalore 560080 About Pebble The Jungle Lounge..... The Pebble journey began in 2004, amidst a quaint shack nestled in a leafy corner of Palace Grounds, as a haven for those seeking respite from the monotony of pop remixes flooding mainstream clubs. Owned and promoted by a vivacious family passionate about their music, Pebble soon became home for itinerant artists and DJs thirsting to innovate, blending their medley of electronic dance music, inspired by the clubbing hotspots of the world, creating a cultural fusion that has endured to this day. This diversity has been inherent in the musical line-up, from mellow Minimal House to Progressively Uplifting Trance, vibrantly Psychedelic Trance to thumping Drums n Bass and Addictive Electro-Tech House to the iconic melange of musical styles defined by the I Love Music festival. Pebble has something for everyone, be it the music fanatic or the occasional clubber looking to chill out. The ambience is deliberately casual and offbeat, reflected in the absence of dressiness, bouncers or similar party poopers. The lounge might well be set at home, surrounded by comfy bean bags and low slung divans, where guests often chill between frenzied bouts of dance mania, nibbling on tandoori delights expertly, yet lovingly crafted by Ayesha Ali, before making a beeline to the bar for refills of The Volcano – guaranteed to induce ecstasy on the dance floor. It is not uncommon to find conversations flourishing around the bar, where the affectionately nicknamed Pebble Ali amiably holds court with club regulars and interested listeners. Service is liberally garnished with smiles, as befitting a family initiative that retains the flavour of home...
