We echo the ECU CW page: very sad to pass along. Some sad news to pass along. Stephen Jackson, an ECU CW grad, has passed away. His thesis director, Bob Siegel, reminds us that "Stephen Jackson was a fine dramatist who wrote sharp, funny dialog dissecting a world corrupted by image and hypocrisy. His presence was just the opposite, a genuinely warm, giving man ready in an instant to help a fellow writer." Services for Stephen will be September 21 at 4:00 pm at WILKERSON and Sons Funeral Home, 2100 East FIFTH STREET Greenville.
