Vernon Michael McPhee Jr. 01/28/14 5lbs 8oz When im with him, its like time stops, nothing else matters, and to hell with the world. He makes everything better, even when he is being fussy and fighting me during breast feeding. Every day, he teaches me something new. For example, I learned today to never hold a naked baby after breast feeding. I had so much baby poop on me that i almost ripped my stitches with laughter and Daddy learned that the trick to not getting pee in the face is the get faster at diaper changing. He has Mommys nose and hair and Daddys everything else. 90% of the time, he is chill, relaxed, and super quiet. a trait he definitely gets from his daddy. and the other 10% of the time, he is impatient and feisty (traits im a little more ashamed to say he gets from me). he is also a thumb sucker out of this world, but its too cute to try and break the habit right now. His daddy and I think he is the cutest thing in the world... I get frustrated and daddy gets anxiety when he cries. but as soon as he falls asleep, we forget the loud horror he just put us through and cant stop smiling at him. We arent done learning by a long shot, buts it nice watching all three of us learn and change in such a short period of time. To all of those that said he was a mistake, all i have to say is that im glad i didnt listen to you. He makes everything... all my hopes and dreams..... mean so much more to me. P.S. : To all those who have been and/or said negative things to and/or about me, Vernon, and my baby throughout my pregnancy and afterwards, please stay far away from me and the family that i started. I was already mean before. So imagine how much meaner i can be now that i have a GORGEOUS guy to protect from all the negativity. If it is/was you, you know who you are. So change how you come at and/or address me, vernon, and vernon jr. Having a family takes alot of work, especially with a baby. The last thing i want and need is anything or ANYONE trying to compromise that. Now, on a lighter note. In ending my message, Thank You to all of the people who were supportive. who made sure I was ok and ate healthy everyday. Thank You to all of those who gave such great and much needed new mom advise. I will try to thank all of you in person if i can. All of the tips really helped. Thank You to the chosen few FamGuard employees who, on more than one occasion shared their lunches with me because i was too stubborn to eat what i knew i should be eating lol. Thank You for also being people i can come to for help and advise and count on to make sure Vernon Jr. came out safe and healthy. Thanks for the doctors appointment reminders, the gifts, the scoldings, etc. It was what i needed. (i can be pretty set in my ways and reluctant to change sometimes lol) Thank you to my friends that i was able to let all my pregnancy and non-pregnancy related stresses on. (cause being pregnant can be an emotional roller coaster). Thank you to the people who didnt wait on a call from me and took the initiative to give me a ring. I worked full time during my whole pregnancy so getting sleep was high on my priority list. those phone calls made sure i still had a social life and make sure i interacted with people who truly cared about me. All in all, the emotional and educational support was amazing. Everyone who was there for me, you know who you are and again, Thanks. I cant wait to see whats in store for the future. There will be more pics to come.
