Very Interesting interview back during the time that the Iranian people had risen up against the government and we sat on our hands and chose stability over action ... counter insurgency is a short term solution to a long term problem .. No magic bullet .. NO instant fix ... Failed states are not the issue .. the issue is trying to be the worlds police man .. what an interesting time to be on this planet .. I remember pre 9/11 and the days when America frowned on targeted assassinations... It is not happenstance that our economy is not improving while we devote so much of our national treasure to over seas operations .. We need to spend both time and money at home and do some nation building in the 50 states .. Let the rest of the world deal with issues around the globe . Let the private corporations deploy private armies to secure the areas they have interest in..... In other words we are at a cross roads ..
