Very Very interesting video on 3D printers and a company that makes M16 and other lower receivers from 3D printers. I recall the first mention of guns and 3D printers and I thought Wow man, You can actually print out a gun? NO, You cant. BUT, you can actually print out a lower receiver which is the one gun part that you cant buy without a permit to do so. I watched the video where they poured the liquid material into the printer and then, it started making a receiver, It took 8 hours but a receiver non the less. Then he installed it on the other components that he purchased, loaded the clip (he also makes plastic clips from a printer) and the started shooting. Un Friggin Believable! He isnt doing this for money as much as he is to demonstrate that people shouldnt be restricted by stupid gun laws. I LIKE THIS GUY. The only problem is, right off the bat when the 3D printer sales started up, it was teens, kids that were buying them. I thought, if they are making guns then this is not such a good idea. Not unless their parents have to purchase the printer and then they are responsible as I see it. Very cool video but it is probably a half hour long documentary. Worth watching though.
