Very awesome to receive this testimonial from Brad Parkhurst. Proud of you bud. Its just the beginning.. Going from a 1080 total to a 1275 total with Mike Casavant. I met Mike, from Iron Force Athletics, at the RPS meet in Everett,MA this past October. Mike was easy to talk to about training. He actually took the time to see what I needed to work on, and listen to my goals. I was in the 198lb AM class trying to increase my totals to something respectful. I just finished a meet with a 1080lb total for full Powerlifting. Mike was able to not only watch me compete, but also spotted me in the squats. He was able to really look at my strengths and weaknesses. Mike was able to design a program for me that was pretty easy to follow. A little bit of Math and anyone can do it. At first I was skeptical to just try out a program from someone I just met. Mike was pretty knowledgeable and and seemed interested in my success. He was also able to predict my lifts at the end of the program which I thought was crazy! I dug in deep with training and also included my Powerlifting Team. We all paid real close attention to the program and were very disciplined. Months later, the results were Awesome. I just competed in the RPS New England Revolution in RI this past weekend. Due to the growth and gains of the program, I had to cut weight from 210 to 198. I weighed in at 198 flat. My numbers were as follows: 410-squat 360-bench 505-dead lift I missed a 450 squat on third attempt and 535 deadlift on third attempt. I probably missed those lifts due to cutting weight. I out those numbers up in the gym. Nonetheless, I Totaled:1275. A 195lb increase from October at the same body weight. I also took home 4 State records. Now, I will be competing in the 220 weight class for RPS 4-19-14 in NH. I also qualified for the CT Europa! No sense in staying a light weight if the program proves to be successful. Gains Gains Gains! Thanks Mike! See you at the Arnold Classic next year! By the way I had 6 teammates set State records and 1 world Record on Sundays meet. So...its not just me that got GAINS!!!!
