Very few things in this life are black and white, there is usually a little grey area if you look hard enough. That said not ALL cops are bad, not ALL black men are criminals. Using the death of any man, guilty or innocent to prove otherwise is pointless and moreover counter productive. The reality is there are cops who are racist assholes, or just plain old assholes, and there are black men out there who are dangerous criminals. Im choosing to ignore all of the soapbox style statements full of absolutes that none of us can prove to be true! Instead I choose to be grateful for the health, safety and happiness of my family and friends and to be grateful for all of my blessings. We all have to admit that there is plenty of work to be done where race relations in this country are concerned. One thing for sure is none of that work will be done while looting and rioting goes on. I choose to spend this Thanksgiving in love and peace, JOIN ME!
