Very humbling travel story- my luggage was left on the tarmac in Texas in my plain site as the plane backs out from the gate, I say hey- thats my luggage....but we apparently have to leave it there- along with other peoples luggage due to limited capacity on the plane. Get to Montgomery, no luggage and it wont be delivered until tomorrow- after my meeting that Im in charge of starts. 😳 Great- I will look so good facilitating a state meeting in a shirt that says LOVE ❤️. I get a taxi to my hotel which cost $22 with tip. Its dark, been a long day, Im worried about my clothing issue for tomorrow and in the midst I accidentally pay her with a $20, a $1 and a $100 ( yes a one hundred) dollar bill!!!! So I gave her $121 for a $22 cab ride. Once in my room I realize what I had done- my $100 bill gone. I was upset but then decided that somehow God knew that she needed that money--- and I let it go. This wonderful, honest woman calls me about 30 minutes later to return my $100 dollar bill.....👼 So........never lose faith in humanity.
