Very impressed with Childrens Hospital after a late night ER visit! Garrett came home from the hunting camp Sunday and told me he had been bitten by something while he slept the night before. It was a little swollen but wasnt giving him any pain. Last night he showed it to me again and it was more swollen but also had a blue/black/purple ring around it. After a visit to the ER, he is being treated for a Brown Recluse bite! Heavy antibiotics for soft tissue infection {Clindamycin 450mg, 3 times a day/7 days} to hopefully prevent necrosis. Please pray that this will be the case. Also, please pray for my friend Jennifer Vines 4 year son, Owen, who was also at Childrens last night {and still is} after being bit by a copperhead.
