Very long post, but with the 2014 Drifting Season in the books, I wanted to take the time to thank some of the many people and companies which made this year possible for me. Competing in both the Irish Drift Championship and British Drift Championship in the one year is a massive undertaking, and but for these people, would be pretty much impossible. Firstly Ben Lawson, Paul Hsu, and all the Nankang Tyre UK crew and team mates. Its been an incredible pleasure getting to run on the amazing NS-2Rs this year, highlighting their exceptional grip by sticking it to much bigger HP cars in a live axled AE86 on 195 15 inch tyres. Best in the business! Couture Auto built, and AP-Performance tuned me an engine setup that has not missed a single beat all year, despite my hardest efforts to kill it at times! IceTronix supplied me with the ecu and #Rotrex supercharger setup to create the worlds first F20c Supercharged AE86 (as far as I am aware of). Enough thanks cant go to all those guys for their incredible customer support, feedback, knowledge, and just sheer willingness to go above and beyond what most other companies do these days. As always I would quite simply not be able to compete at any level, let alone in the top class both in Ireland and the UK, without Wesley Keating of Team-WKD-Imports. For storing and transporting my car to the far regions of the British Isles, while I chillax on a plane flight, and for putting up with the constant tool stealing and panicked phone calls, a massive thanks (and cup of tea) as always dude! Not enough room to post my thanks to Dan, who carries out 90% of the work on my car, and has moved mountains to ensure I have still yet to miss an event in the 3 years+ I have known him. Paddy Brennan for (reluctantly at times) doing the exact same for me at events. Spotter, mechanic, car cleaner, abuser and drinks partner all rolled into one! Tom Lawlor Autobody for again making the car look as good as it does, and patching it up as best he can as I go about undoing that work throughout the year. Moose Designs for all graphics and decal needs. Quite simply the only choice for similar in this country. Always super prompt with really last minute requests and takes unbelievable pride in his work. #ImageWheels who helped me get truly unique one off wheels this year for the 86 in crazy bespoke sizes. And to all my very supportive and helpful family, friends, and followers who have come with me all this way. It was the first real tough year Ive had in drifting to be honest, and they all helped me keep going massively. And finally to all the various media outlets for all the great memories you guys give us! 2014 had many highs and lows, but the outlook for 2015 could be simply epic! A new car. Some big plans. The tools to go and try and take on the top guys in the game right now. I hope to keep as many of these partnerships and relationships as possible along for the ride, and hopefully try and bring in some more companies and people looking to take part.
