Very much disagree with the response, cuz. This guy who replied is trying to put the responsibility of black men/women relationships on some other race, when it actually is a fault in our own. From the beginning of black girls in the church were chaste (or wouldnt put out) so they got with white girls, is a lie. The rate of unwed black teens is staggering, and the fathers of those babies are then on to the next black girl to impregnate them. The response that white girls are more docile is another falsehood. A black man (who has his whole laundry list of issues) will not have respect for a black girl if she demands nothing from him in the way of respect and commitment; if your man is not working, wont commit, has no education, has a number of babies by different women, is out partying instead of being home with his family . . . maybe that guy isnt such a great catch after all. And this whole Black Queen should be discarded; BTW, the only black queens blacks usually talk about are the Egyptian ones, when there are scores who ruled nations in sub-saharan Africa; and they didnt put up with womanizing men either. But . . . how can black women proudly call themselves Black Queens when they wear European wigs and weaves, and wont let go of the perms? If we didnt idolize shows like Real Housewives of Atlanta- weaves everywhere on that show; and all of the fighting and name calling that goes on there, and instead, showed genuine sisterhood toward one another, things might change. Im certainly not saying all of this to belittle our race, but to help it grow by looking at life in a different way that doesnt involve baby-daddies, bling, weaves, and us always falling at the bottom of every academic measure. What blacks should be circulating amongst one another IS the book, Brainwashed - Challenging the Myth of Black Inferiority. There is an AIDS epidemic sweeping through the black community with Black Females being the most affected. American Black women have a higher rate of AIDS infection than many countries in Africa now. This AIDS epidemic is a result of a self-esteem problem with black women wont demand more from the black guys they are with or want.
