Very sad to hear of the demise of ABC Classic FMs New Music Up Late which will be no more as of 2015. Its the only dedicated new music show of its kind on Australian radio, giving wonderfully detailed insight into so much of what our best art music creatives are doing in this country. I understand new music will be somehow incorporated into the stations other programming? I do wonder exactly how that will be done, particularly some of the more challenging/stimulating stuff. Perhaps we could start a pirate station in the Tasman instead.
