Very sad to hear that Stuart Scott passed away this morning. Being an avid sports fan, I grew up waking up and going to bed to him and his witty banter on SportsCenter as well as his coverage of all the major sporting events. He was an icon in sports journalism as far as Im concerned. Quietly for the past seven years and unknown to most, he battled cancer. This past year, he was winner of the Jimmy V award and gave an incredible speech that shed light on his character and the type of man he was outside of his job.
