Vet appointment at 2:15 est today for Bear. Will have some answers this afternoon. In the meantime, Bear slept in his crate last night - down stairs - because stairs are a huge problem right now. Going up is difficult, coming down is nearly impossible. He was not a happy camper last night as it has been a very long time since hes had to be put in his crate overnight. However, it was in his best interest for sure. He is still having the same difficulty with it today - cant hardly use it, dragging his toe, cannot balance with it and cant even squat right to go poop. (never imagined Id be talking about poop on FB!). He is otherwise healthy, not showing any signs of pain, wanting to play ball and not happy with me that I wont throw it for him. Laying down is difficult and it pains ME to see him do it because he basically lets his hind end flop over and it hits hard on the floor. Ouch! Doesnt seem to bother him. I think sometimes WE hurt more than they do when our pets are not up to par!! Well keep you posted.
