Veterans Day, 2014 Veterans Day is NOT a Hallmark holiday. Its a day dedicated to all whove stood steadfast between America and her enemies, both at home and abroad. And while Veterans Day might have a different personal meaning for you than it does for me, one thing never changes... All of us should be truly grateful and humbled by the service of all the men and women whove raised their hands and laid their lives on the line for us, our families, and for America. I am very proud of the family history of my family and their contribution to keeping America Free and Safe. I am particularly proud of my nephew, Shawn Henry currently in the US Navy.
