Veterans Day. Been trying to think of what it is exactly that I want to say. Words dont seem to express the gratitude I have for those who serve for me. As I have been pondering what it is that I want to say and how to say it I have been struck by something so simple. Two words are all it takes to let someone know how much you appreciate what they do. Two words can mean so much to someone who served for me, for you, for this country. Two words have such power and yet we have only one day dedicated to veterans? So, for this next year I want to take two words to thank a veteran (or their spouse/family) each day. Will you join me? My goal is at least 365 vets by November 11, 2015. Take this post and share it and then each day comment and/tag the Vet youre thanking (my goal is to try and come up with vets outside of my husbands squadron). My first thank you seems like it would naturally go to my husband Matthew however, Im choosing today to thank Ruby Contreras. Thank you for your service to our country. Thanks for what you are doing while youre away from family.
