Via Gabriela Geutner Fellows. Turns out I know some women like this. One of them got her pilots license at age 16, paying for it with her babysitting money. Was Valedictorian of her High School class. Went out of state to school and graduated Georgia Tech with a degree in Aerospace Engineering, while co-oping with an aerospace company to pay for it. Took a year off and went exploring out west and in Europe. One of her outings was an overnight hike down into the Grand Canyon, by herself. She is SCUBA qualified and has stepped out of a perfectly good aircraft. In flight. She has also flown in zero G on NASA JSCs Vomit Comet while training and assisting astronauts. She has been an engineer on the Lockheed Martin F-22 program, where she has often been the only woman among male engineers and scientists. She has landed a C-130 on an aircraft carrier... in the simulator at Lockheed Martin, which she manages and runs. She would count her greatest accomplishment as being Mom to our three sons. Take a bow, Sharon Molnar DuBois.
