Via MYU MYU BAR OPEN MIC - So with MYU open mic growing we would like to invite you all down for a merry xmas open mic and jam session. Not just a nasty acoustic in the corner. We have a full set up with a pro Pa and a pro back line inc drums,electric guitars and basses along with tones of other instruments too! Come join in the festive spirit tomorrow night!! MYU Bar brings you one of East of England’s greatest open mic events. With the stage set up of all pro equipment containing 5/6 acoustic guitars and basses, 2 electric guitars with Marshall and Randall valve rigs, bass’s and a valve bass rig, Casio keyboards, Premier drum kit with cymbals, loop stations and much more. We cater for all types of musician’s bands and artists. We also have a range of percussion instruments and small instruments for the little less confident enthusiast who wish to participate. With MYU bar pulling a huge crowd every Wednesday it’s a perfect opportunity to find likeminded musicians to start bands and jam. We pride ourselves on the quality and up keep of our set up and PA system with so much time and effort behind the scenes to make your night an enjoyable and personal night. The Team open the night with a short DJ set while performers fill the book up from 7p.m. 3 songs per artist means you will see an huge amount great varied music in the night with a free drink for all performers. We urge you as a musician and or live music lover to support your local scene and join us. Bands welcome to turn up, even if you are a member short, to show off your cover or original music to the regular spotters we have in the venue.
