Via Qualin Dixon Black supermen? Black criminality? None of that should ever be a factor in the use of deadly or other kind of force. The only thing that should matter is the threats suspects present. Similarly, a grand jury should be able to decide in a rational way if the evidence in an individual killing indicates legitimate self defense, manslaughter, or outright homicide. Advocacy thinking blurs the judgment of us all, but sometimes, as in the Eric Garner case, the evidence is so clear, that failure to indict is an unquestionable miscarriage of justice.
