Via Rockjumper - Worldwide Birding Adventures #wildbird The Spotted Pardalote is 1 of 4 pardalote species, all of which are restricted to Australia and the island of Tasmania. This particular species is also one of Australia’s smallest birds at a mere 8 to 10 cm in length (3-4 inches), and is sometimes colloquially known as the Diamondbird. Jonathan Rossouw photographed this lovely male along the East Coast of Australia.
