Victim’s Deficiency by: Elgen M. Limare-Pagadian City Remarkable strong winds and heavy rains destroyed many lives last December 04, 2012 which badly hit the agricultural sector in the province of Davao Oriental. Victims of Pablo are still in the process of recovery. Today there are some survivors who suffer from psychological problems and health deficiencies because of the typhoon. Who is to be blamed about this issue? Families that are seeking for a good shelter and counseling to deprive the fear?Persons in authority? How do we solve this problem? How do we put all things in order?Is proper dissemination of information well implemented? These questions are needed to be answered toclarify all things whichwill set our minds free.Some roads and pathways are not yet fixed in the Municipality of Baganga and other parts of Davao Oriental. Many individuals suffered from hunger of sympathy. It is not good to hear the survivors grieve due to the panic about Pablo.It is an eyesore to witness how people try to strive and take an initiative to be out from this problem. Food, clothing, water supply and shelter are needed to sustain the victims of Pablo. The worst thing is that there are some trees such as coconut and mahogany that were taken down by the strong wind. Unfortunately, it is neither being utilized nor pulled off. These trees are very useful for the victims of Pablo to restore their houses.Survivors of Pablo are thirsty of action which signifies their needs. There are people who turn blind eye. Victims of Pablo are in need of immediate solutions in terms of kind as well as financial assistance. Do officersin charge of certain organizations have evaluated their lapses? I highly salute those organizations who keep on supporting the survivors of Pablo. I am requestingall holders of position to dig up further about the problems happening in the area affected by Pablo. Don’t be like crooks who grab the opportunity to pull down the victims. Instead, extend right things for those survivors who deserve to have.If victims hesitate to direct a call to persons in position to voice out their adversity of support inspite of muteness as recent regimen pretends to hear nothing, survivors of Pablo should be united to speak out their difficulties and to build a strong communication. I hope that the people must feel the pain of abusing which I consider as an act of stupidity. I am also knocking the government officials to scrutinizeand conduct an appropriate action with full solution for the betterment of Pablo victims. All of us living in this world have a big responsibility to responseto the victims quickly. Only, there are some individuals who take actionsunwillingly. Proper justice must be served in terms of ration from the equality of the distribution of the relief goods.
