Victor McLaglen doing a strong man act with actors Ronald Colman and Neil Hamilton atop his shoulders on the set of Beau Geste (1926). Neil Hamilton would later go on to portray Commissioner Gordon in the TV series Batman (1966-1968), and McLaglen would win the Academy Award for his performance in John Fords The Informer (1935), the same year in which Ronnie gave his Oscar worthy performance in A Tale of Two Cities. McLaglens real name was Victor Andrew de Bier Everleigh McLaglen. Thats quite the moniker!
