Video: “TRUCKERS TO SHUT DOWN AMERICA” This video and news of the 3-day strike are making the rounds today. News of the strike has even made nation-wide news. A group of drivers are reportedly planning to shut down D.C for three days beginning October 11. The drivers say they’re protesting the “corruption agains the Constitution.” In 3 days, the facebook page “Truckers To Shut Down America” has gotten more than 30,000 likes. “The American people are sick and tired of the corruption that is destroying America! We therefore declare a GENERAL STRIKE on the weekend of October 11-13, 2013! Truck drivers will not haul freight! Americans can strike in solidarity with truck drivers!” the page states.
