We are hoping this netting will be removed or changed as it is badly maintained with quite a few holes & tears in it, after speaking to a local bird friendly non lethal pest controller he has said it is not the correct type of netting for the gulls, this is netting you would use for pigeons. It is also acting as a mist net. WRAS & Rogers wildlife rescue have also been called out & attended to birds trapped in this netting previous to this incident. It has happened far too many times and must be corrected.
