Video version below! Hey Sign Language Society! Friday nights pub crawl was fun! Thanks to everyone who came, hope you had a good night, and not as hung over as I was… On Friday, the conversation at one point became about sign names! We were discussing what each of our sign names were, how we got them, who gave us them, etc. So I thought I’d ask you all the same! Upload a video, telling us your story! I’ll go first. My sign name is “STRETCH-FACE”. Why? Well it was my first day of University, and I was pretty excited to get started. I met other BSL students there, and we all went to get our photos taken for Student ID. Eventually I got my photo taken. I waited for it print, but was disappointed when the guy handed it to me. The printer had stretched my face… the others saw this, and started laughing, and calling me Stretch-face (jerks). So that’s my story. Hopefully your story is better. Heck, hope your sign name is better… tell us!
