Violence and persecution against minority Christian communities - TopicsExpress

Violence and persecution against minority Christian communities has increased substantially since 2010. From Syria to the Coptic Christians in Egypt and in many other countries...Christians are given the disgraceful ultimatum of convert, leave, or die by extremists. Now terrorist militants of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL or ISIS) are on a rampage targeting Christians and religious minorities in Iraq. Why is the press and our President just shedding light on these awful atrocities against Christians now? Maybe if the President hadnt drawn so many red lines only to stand idly by as they were ignored and laughed at...these militants wouldnt be emboldened to perpetrate such ungodly genocide. If we stuck to the principles of peace through strength and had the credibility we once enjoyed as a country of honor and principle, we wouldnt once again be on the verge of getting sucked into conflict in Iraq and seeing so many religious minorities threatened with such brutality. These are the consequences of failed strategy and failed leadership.
