Violence flares up again across #Egypt as tens of thousands of defiant Muslim Brotherhood supporters take to the streets to hold a “Friday of Anger”. The protests come as the army deploys more troops across the country. 18 people including one soldier have so far been killed in Cairo, Ismailia and Tanta. Fresh demonstrations come in reaction to the Wednesday massacre by the military. According to health officials the crackdown left at least 638 people dead. The Brotherhood says the death toll is much higher. What does the incessant political unrest mean for the future of Egypt? Is a political solution still possible? What does a divided and chaotic Egypt signify in the already unstable Middle East?
