Vishy Anand: World Chess Champion - Review Way back in 1998 a new book by the rising Indian star, Viswanathan Anand hit the stands. It was an instant success and deservedly won the BCF Award for The Book of The Year. Two years later after he became the FIDE World Champion it also saw the second edition (Gambit.2001). A decade later last year the third edition appeared on the eve of the Anand-Gelfand World Championship Match. As of now this is the latest edition.
