Vision Finance Company Ltd (VFC), an affiliate of World Vision is a microfinance institution in Rwanda that will soon transform into Rwanda´s leading microfinance Bank VFC is committed to the development of Rwanda through providing affordable financial services (savings and loans) to the less privileged people throughout its 30 locations across Rwanda. Applications are invited from qualified persons to fill Vacancies in Finance and Audit Departments of VFC. In order to ensure compliance with the standards, procedures and reporting to various stakeholders, VFC seeks to employ Chief Finance Officer and Internal Audit Manager. The two positions will be based at the Head Office with frequent travels to Branch offices. The Chief Finance Officer will be reporting to the Chief Executive Officer while the Internal Audit Manager will be reporting to the Board Audit Committee. Job descriptions can be provided on request. Knowledge, Abilities and Technical Skills - B.COM / BBA (Accounting option) or equivalent qualifications from an internationally recognised University. An MBA or a relevant Masters degree will be an added advantage. - Must have completed ACCA, GPA or related professional qualifications and obtained relevant professional memberships. - For the Internal Audit Manager, CISA or CIA will be an added advantage. - A minimum of 5 years experience in a senior position in banking, micro finance or financial services sector is required. - For the Internal Audit Manager Audit experience/exposure to systems audits will -be an added advantage. - Experience in the use of integrated loan & accounting packages is required. - Computer literacy and knowledgeable in the use of standard office computer packages with solid working knowledge of MS Excel and Word is required. - Must practice accountability and integrity and have strong work ethics. - Must be of good personality with initiative and perseverance and have excellent interpersonal skills. - Must be a good and committed Christian.
