#Vision_Dream_PURPOSE_Destiny PURPOSE [Part one (1)] From the OXFORD DICTIONARY: Purpose is the #reason for which something is done or the reason for which something exist. The message today is on the second definition; That is, The reason for which something exist. Everything done or made is done with a reason and for a purpose. That is why the great Phylosopher said in the book of Ecclesiastes that there is a time for every #purpose under the heaven. Which means there are purposes under the heavens. Those purposes are connected to You and I existing. Now lets look at the definition more critically. It says the REASON why something exists. It means in the absence of the reason why the thing was created or exists, the thing doesnt have any right to exist. The moment the thing or creation will loose it reason for existence, it must not live. Because it was for the reason that it was created. This means a lot of people are walking or existing yet, they are dead. Because they have lost or have not come to the realisation of the REASON why they exist. Mans true existence is realised when we are conscious of the reason of our existence or fulfiling the reason for our existence. If the definition says PURPOSE is the REASON for which something exists, it means without the reason, the thing must not exist. The thing was not created for creation sake, but to serve a particular reason ( PURPOSE). This also means the producer of the thing or creation (God), is, or was motivated to bring that creation into existence not because of the beauty of the creation but because of the need or reason that that thing will come to satisfy. This also means the producer ( God) can readily destroy the commodity to make another one if the previous or existing one is not serving or fulfiling the reason why it was created. For example if a person buys a pen, the purpose of buying the pen is not because it is beautiful or too nice but because he wants to write with the pen. Now if that individual comes to use the pen and it refuses to write, no matter the money and resources used to buy this pen, for the fact that the pen is not serving the purpose for which it was bought, the owner will do away with it. As new as it looks and efficient as it looks, for the fact that it is not serving its purpose and reason for existence, it will be done away with. Sometimes a pen may be old and may not even look attractive but for the fact that it is working (serving it purpose), it will be found on desks in banks and other important offices. This only implies that so far as something is serving its purpose, it has all right to live. Vice versaly, so far as something is not serving its purpose, it has no right to live. Thats why we do away with our things that are no longer serving its purpose in our lives. e.g. damaged television. Why were you born the day you were born? What purpose prompted God to create you? What need did God send you to come and meet? What purpose allowed God to let you see 2015? Its not by accident! There is a purpose! To be continued....
