Visit DIE COURANT Jeffreys Bay (Newspaper - on link below:) facebook/JeffreysBayCourant/posts/510447649052121 JOIN IN THE FUN ON NOVEMBER 16 AND HELP A NEEDY CHILD!! THE Applejacks will host a line dance social in support of Helping Hands in Jeffreys Bay. The event will take place at the Ski Boat Club in Jeffreys Bay on November 16. Entrance fee is a gift for a needy child. While they dance the day away, they hope to collect enough gifts for 21 boys and girls aged between six and 19. Lunch will be sold between 13:00 and 14:00, which will consist of Boere wors rolls, Salad Rolls, tea, coffee and cake. At 14H00 the dancers will take to the floor for some social dancing. “Gifts must please be placed in an open gift bag to make it easier for Helping Hand. It will also be of great help if you could indicate boy or girl and the age appropriate category of the gift on a swing tag. Non- perishable food items are also welcome. All gifts and food items will be handed over to Helping Hand Jeffreys Bay at 15:10. “Residents who are unable to attend the event, but still want to donate a gift, are more than welcome to do so,” says Liz Head from the Applejacks. “Each gift will make a huge difference in the life of a needy child who usually celebrates the festive season without a gift of his or her own.” Helping Hand Solidarity would like to thank the Applejacks for all their hard work and dedication. For more information, contact Liz Head at 083 336 7895 or Carol Ludick at 079 180 7705.
