Visit a world of fantasy in Fairytale Fiesta with fiesta gowns inspired by fairytales, myths and magic. This year’s featured pin dress will be 1941’s Queen of the Court of Legends. The gold lame dress and train worn by Margaret Walker features the underwater kingdom of Atlantis with coral, starfish and seahorses worked in coral velvet and rhinestones. Come see this fabulous show in the Betty Coates Textile Gallery at the Witte Museum starting April 17th.
