[email protected] Stage 1 The duration of the course is 5 days which comprise of 4 stages and the course outline is as follows: Stage 1 (Beginner) • Lesson 1- Basic cake baking • Lesson 2- Piping techniques (number 1 nozzle and star nozzle) • Lesson 3- Piping techniques (straight and flowers) • Lesson 4- Icing a cake and cupcakes with butter icing. Stage 2 (Intermediate) • Lesson 1- making modelling paste, preparing wires, Sugar flowers (roses and calla lily) • Lesson 2- Sugar flowers (carnations, blossom, filler flowers) • Lesson 3- Sugar flowers (roses, leaves) • Lesson 4- Covering a fruit cake with marzipan • Lesson 5- Covering a fruit cake with plastic icing and adding detail. Stage 3 (Advance) • Lesson 1- Advanced Sugar flowers • Lesson 2- Patch work and stencil work • Lesson 3- Moulds, dusting flowers • Lesson 4- Sugar flower arrangements. Stage 4 (Professional) • Lesson 1- 2D cakes (Hello Kittie, number 1) • Lesson 2- 3D cakes (handbag cake, Barbie) • Lesson 3- 3D cakes (box with lid, pregnant belly, soccer ball) • Lesson 4- Shoes (booties, heels) We can help with accomodation arrangements.
