Visited my parents last night, first time in 6 months...My Father gave me the DVD Films Shane 1953 and One Eyed Jacks 1961 to watch in my spare time... Important films to him, that mean something personal to him, that he wanted me to watch... These are sombre westerns with honourable heroes out to fight for the weak and get revenge,, I Saw One Eyed Jacks 14 years ago and remember the deep scenes by the beach when Marlon Brando practices using a gun, and sits around with Ben Johnson waiting around for a very long time for the right time... Vengeance on Brandos mind to kill his ex best friend Karl Malden who has a become a clean cutt respectable Sheriff and set Brando up in a Bank Robbery Gone Wrong 5 years earlier..... My Father asked for the modern Film I have in my Collection Rage 1972 with George C Scott.. I bought the film some time ago and knew he would ask me for it one day..... George C Scott as a grief stricken Father going for Revenge against The US Military that accidently kill his son with a nerve gas experiment gone wrong..I miss the times I watched films with my Father... We watched a lot together when I lived with my parents till I was in my mid 20s...
