Visiting my father yesterday, he had rice soup for dinner. He first called my name Jintana then Jarunee Nugranad, knowing that I came from America. His mind was, however, struck on something. He was not pleased with Farang and pointed to my brother-in-law, Dr. Steve J. Milne. He said that England did something bad for Siam or Thailand. I immediately understood that his mind was back to the past. His pride is to be a patriotic Thai who loves and defends for Thailand. He also mentioned about how bad France was to the Kingdom of Siam or Thailand. Dad - I am very proud of you! On the way home I experienced a heavy rainstorm. Therefore, my evening was cut short not to go shopping at the mall. I did stop at the 7-11 and had my frozen food for dinner. Life in Bangkok is always fun. I still miss the list of all my favorite Thai food that we dont have in America.
