Vitangcol whom Rychtar had accused of being the ringleader in the extortion racket remains secure in his post and the Palace is even defending him for the sloppy operations of MRT-3 that commuters consider to be related to the push to have the expansion contract approved. Vitangcol, however, must be defended to the hilt. After all, if the Palace dumps him, he can start singing like a canary about the role of the presidential relatives in the extort try.
