Voivod had the gall to evolve from traditional styles of early, raw, thrash, punk/hardcore into literally unclassifiable proto-prog-jazz-experimental gumbo fusions.. Not one band thats new (Havok,Municipal Waste,Warbringer etc) dare to challenge their skills to play anything as mind boggling as this epic opus of Thrash. Why wont the new Thrash bands evolve? Are they afraid of burning out and unwittingly cause the demise of Thrash once again? Are they deadly afraid of becoming the next Meshuggah and obliterate any hopes and dreams of potential future Thrashers to even pick up an instrument?????
