Volunteer needed for After School Enrichment Coordinator 2013-2014!! Job Description: This person sets afterschool enrichment program schedule, coordinates volunteers who run the after school clubs – makes sure the volunteers have filled out the necessary paperwork – monitors the clubs to make sure they are running smoothly – creates program of classes, sends out program and applications to all students, sets enrollment, sends out and collects permission slips, posts classes in hallway… See the MCPS link below for more volunteer information, and register with the district. You only need to register one time to volunteer throughout the year. If you will be spending time with students without a staff or faculty member, please also fill out a background check. Thank you! These sessions can be held in the fall and spring, or by the trimester, or as your time allows. Perhaps a 5 week session in the spring (like this last year) is a good fit for you. Benefits: Provides opportunity for students to try something new. Encourages Paxson community involvement. Allows fun after school option for Paxson students.
