Volunteers Needed for Downtown Vision Process The Village of Lake Zurich is seeking interested residents, business owners, and other community stakeholders to participate in a future working group that will consider a new vision for downtown Lake Zurich. Recent economic challenges require us to re-examine the planned future for downtown Lake Zurich. What should future development look like? What type of commercial activity should be sought? What type of buildings do we want? What should downtown public gathering spaces look and feel like? These are just a few of the important questions that need to be answered as we plan for the next 20 years and beyond. As economic opportunities begin to open up across our region and in our Village, it is important for us to establish and communicate our vision for Lake Zurichs downtown.
