Volunteers Needed for North Mayfair and Sacramento Playgrounds! Volunteers are needed to help spread the fibar surfacing in the new playgrounds at North Mayfair Playlot (4533 W. Carmen Ave.) and Sacramento Park (3520 N. Sacramento) Fibar is the wood material that lies under and around swings, slides, monkey bars and other playground equipment. These new playgrounds are part of an effort to replace 300 playgrounds over the next 5 years. Both North Mayfair and Sacramento were nominated by the Park Advisory Councils for a brand new playground. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age. Please dress appropriately most importantly please wear closed toe shoes: sneaker or boots. You will be working with wheel barrels, rakes and the like.
