A MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION FOR ANC Honorable Kwame Clement has introduce a new style of ‘Obama’ politics in Liberia, where an aspiring candidate is able to civilly dialogue with voters/citizens through social media by tackling the tough issues, taking hard-hitting questions and defining the role of his party. This is a great thing and it means a lot to some of us who really want to see a transformed Liberia; one that’s free of rampant corruption and most importantly punishes crime. Liberia lacks professions in many domains because past/present leaders are strappingly focused on politics as opposed to education, trade, tourism, arts, industries and sports. Young people now see their only way of acquiring a nice home or living the ‘Liberian-Dream’ is to be in politics. Models, doctors, athletes, engineers, musicians etc. etc. have all turned 360 degrees and delving into politics all in the name of (free-money) leaving a colossal dent in these sectors. One Liberian described it as, “trying to square a circle.” Here is my question to Honorable Clement. Under an ANC led government; what will it do different than previous/present governments to reverse this trend and how?
