Vote on November 4th! Proposed bonds would benefit Pflugerville with streets and park improvements. Early voting is from October 20 - October 31 and Texas residents must register by October 6 to vote in this General Election on November 4. (votetexas.gov/register-to-vote/). Voter eligibility rules and registration application are available online at the Texas Secretary of States web site. A list of projects included in the two bonds is on the Citys website (pflugervilletx.gov/index.aspx?nid=1980). If both bond propositions pass according to City estimates, based on tax rate, appraisals, estimated city growth and debt service, the average Pflugerville homeowner could have a tax impact from 6-9 cents per $1000 valuation over five years or an estimated cost of $144 annually. (This $144 will be dependent on when the funds are acquired and on project timelines.)
