Voter choices ONE of your letters to the editor raised the hypothetical concern of what will happen if one or both of the independent candidates achieved ninety percent of votes in the September 17 elections. Obviously this is beyond reality. But if one or both of the independent candidates, and I wish they do, gain five percent of the minimum votes each, then each of them will qualify for two plus seats. Will they be able to give their extra seats to other candidates of their choice? Pratap Chand, Sydney, Australia
