Voxxy Vox died... Damn! :( I really am so upset! I cant describe!!! I loved that amp. Anyone following my page knows that I did. A tech can fix her (I cant) for a fee close to what it costs to buy a used one from Guitar Center. Something must have fallen on top of Voxxie, broke the master volume clear off... Seems like a simple fix, but it isnt. Also ordering parts from Vox is impossible. I will probably have to buy one for the road trip next week though... I need an endorsement! Id like to thank Daniel, who has always been a true friend, for the loan of his amp last night for our gig at Cooley Lake. It was a great jam. The Monster Burger is killer there. Literally... Killer!!! 1/2 pound burger stuffed with a ton of cheese, and jalapeno peppers (only mildly hot dammit!) and then breaded and deep fried served on a bun! Seriously if you have cholesterol trouble you need to avoid this burger at all cost! Also if you have a gig that night (like I did!) Id steer clear too! About an hour after eating that monstrosity (and I ate every bit like a fool!) I went straight into food coma... Zzzzzzzzzzzzz.... No worries though I pulled out of it before I had to play again! It was quite delicious but despite how tasty she was I think its only going to be a one night stand love affair for me and that burger. Thanks to all the great musicians and fans that came out last night, sending us off on our southern tour next week with a wonderful positive note! And on that note let me get off this Facebook and get busy figuring a way around having to spend $700.00 on a new amp... There is a way I just know it. Good thing Im able to work again or Id be so screwed! So Thankful! Peace my friends, and again, Thanks so much Danny. You really are a true friend. Look out southern Arrowheads! 4 days and counting!
