WAITING Do you ever feel like all you do is wait? We plant the crops, then wait to see if they will come up. Then they come up, but the next thing you know, theres some hail. We wait to see if they will survive. We wait to see if the cows will labor on their own. Then they do, but maybe a calf is sickly. We wait to see if it will survive. A lot of times waiting is on a personal level. We wait to see how a relationship fends. We wait to see how our children do without us right next to them. We wait to see how a loved one responds to medical treatment. Friends, the best news for today is that our waiting is not in vane. If we only wait in the Lord, we will see His glory and His hand on us. And the best part is that at the end, it will all be worth the wait when we can see what He had planned for us all along. Father, it is with a humble heart that we ask You to help us to remember that waiting for things to happen on this earth is just the process of waiting. That truly we are waiting for You. Help us to see your hand in the waiting process and to remember that our hope comes from You. Amen. Psalm130.5 I wait for the Lord , my whole being waits, and in his word I put my hope.
