WAKE UP CALL Let me start with this is NOT TRUE - A HOAX - A LIE Sometimes in the speed of the internet MISINFORMATION is spread faster than our ability to admit we have been duped. I try to check sources to see if a post is from a credible site or a satirical one. I often use snopes to see if if has been fact checked. Getting fooled is not always a reflection of intelligence - it reveals the skill of the deception. The important thing is how we respond AFTER leavening something is not true. I posted this because I bought it hook, line, and sinker and it was posted by a friend that I respect....seemed like it was from a credible news outlet. Another friend quivkly pointed out it was not true but did not offer proof. I did what we all shoul do and RESEARCHED it for myself and found it wasb indeed FALSE and posted collaborative evidence. Unbelievably on one page comments of last days and Palin-esque could or might be done persist- causing me to pull out of that thread. I copied my last admittedly frustrated and terse post and will share it in comments here.
