WAKE UP SAN JOSE - This is our last chance to save our beloved city from crime and corrupt politicians. In spite of what Mayor Reed and his clone would tell you crime in San Jose is on the rise. Criminal gangs have moved in and are taking over. Homicides are up, burglaries are not being investigated and police response times are unacceptable. Who is to blame, the Police Officers? The Chief? NO. They can only work with the tools they are given and when the needed tools and personnel are not provided because of political interference you have a city out of control. Who is to blame for this? The answer is quite clear; Mayor Chuck Reed would be Mayor Sam Liccardo and the elected officials who bought into Reeds lies shifting the blame to your police and fire personnel. Unions representing public employees negotiated in good faith and contracts were agreed upon by the City Council. Now they have turned around and gone against all contractual agreements placing the cities alleged fiscal imbalance on those who are charged with protecting the community when in fact those very same politicians caused the problems. These people who are working hard to make sure their own nests are feathered and their political futures are secure have stabbed the citizens of San Jose in the back. This Mayor and his corrupt followers have lied to the people over and over. When proof of their false statements is presented the shift the blame and keep on telling lies. They pushed Measure B down the throats of the voters who were taken in by their misrepresentation of the facts. As a result they convinced a majority of voters to pass this measure, which has resulted in major may cuts, destroying the retirement system and loss of 400 San Jose Police Officers. It’s going to take years for this once fine department to recover from the damage caused by these incompetent self-serving politicians. This Mayor and his hand picked council have repeatedly lied to us and this is not acceptable. What can we, the people do about this? For one we can elect a Mayor with proven experience, ability, integrity and common sense and that person is Santa Clara County Supervisor Dave Cortese. Next we can look at the true records of the current council and vote out everyone who has sided with Mayor Reed to destroy San Jose. We vote soon and this may be out last chance to save San Jose from crime and political corruption. I encourage everyone to do your part. Share this with everyone you know and let’s start over again.
