WALKING IN THE LIGHT 22: Esther 6:1-3 Be the example you seek In life, we may have beautiful ideas and perfect plans. These are good but the funny thing is that we may expect others to implement them. We know how beautiful things can be but always expect others to do all the nice things of life. Haman knows how people should be honoured but he should not be the one to give them such honours. He is aware that praises should be showered when he is the recipient but becomes angry if he is the one to shower the praises. Today, just look deep into yourself and ask if you have some Haman tendencies. Are there things you wish for yourself and not for others or for others and not for yourself? The Christian spirit asks us to love others as we have been loved by Jesus. May his divinity sustain our humanity as we learn to eschew selfishness and grow towards him.
